Our Simple Process

To begin, please send me an email to enquire.

1. Booking Once we agree on a date that works for you, we’ll secure your booking and confirm all the details.
2. Consultation We’ll have a call to discuss your needs, vision, and preferences. You’ll also receive a helpful online styling guide with tips on outfits, makeup, and how to prepare for your session.
3. Session Day We’ll photograph at the location we’ve chosen — either in my studio in West Byfleet or at your home.
4. Your Images You’ll receive your finished images in a beautiful personalised online gallery where you can download them. You’ll also get a custom mobile app gallery, perfect for viewing and easily sharing with family and friends.
5. Video Slideshow A lovely video slideshow of your images is included with every package.

Newborns should ideally be between 3 to 21 days old for newborn photography. The best timeframe for capturing the most beautiful images is within the first 14 days. During this stage, babies are often very sleepy, squishy and flexible, making it easier to pose them on props. Personally, I find that having them in for the photo session around day 6 to 7 yields excellent results.

Multiples, as well as premature babies, can be photographed up to 6 weeks from their birthday as they are often born earlier which prolongs the “newborn” phase.

I do photograph older newborns. Just keep in mind, the older they are the less they will sleep and therefore you might get more open-eyed photos than sleepy baby photos.

I usually start with the family photos first. So everyone should arrive together. If we don’t need to feed, we would start with the photos. I will guide you and direct you on how to stand, how to hold your baby. Where you should look and when you should kiss them.

Once I am done with the family photos, you could arrange for someone to pick up the siblings or bring a favourite toy or gadget to keep them occupied.  Once I am done with the baby and parent photos, I start with the baby and this is of course my favourite part of the newborn shoot.

During the newborn shoot, I will be working with your little one, I want you to know that I am not going to do anything to your little baby that will in any way hurt them, make them uncomfortable or risk their wellbeing in any way, Safety if my number 1 priority. Your baby is safe with me.

I am equipped with a fully mobile setup and can drive to your location if needed.

The Little Dream – Newborn Mini Session Studio Fee: £250

This is a focused studio session dedicated to your newborn baby only.

• Perfect for capturing those precious early days
• No family combinations included
• Extra photos (baby only or mom/dad with baby) available at £10 per photo
• Only in studio session its a mini session!

The Cherished Nest – Newborn Family Session Studio Fee: £350

Mommy, Daddy/Partner, and siblings are included.

Your newborn session will include a beautiful variety of family combinations:

• Mom + Baby
• Dad/Partner + Baby
• Siblings + Baby
• Mom + Dad + Baby
• Full family (Mom + Dad + Siblings + Baby)
• Travel to your location option: £400 (within 1 hour of my area).

The Golden Bond – Newborn Family Session Studio Fee: £450

Mommy, Daddy/Partner, and siblings are included.

Your newborn session will include a beautiful variety of family combinations:

• Mom + Baby
• Dad/Partner + Baby
• Siblings + Baby
• Mom + Dad + Baby
• Full family (Mom + Dad + Siblings + Baby)
• Travel to your location option: £500 (within 1 hour of my area).

The newborn shoot can last between  2 – 3  hours depending on your baby and how they are feeling on the day as well as the package you choose to take. If it is a mini session it might only take 1 or 2 hours.

Small blemishes can be fixed in post-production. As long as your baby is not very sick or feverish, there is no need to postpone your session.

Something without too many distracting details. Plain shirts or dresses work best. We will send you a “getting ready guide”  when you make the booking. I like to keep it simple, plain white, black or cream, works great and let’s make the baby the hero in all the photos. I do mainly photograph upper bodies unless otherwise specified by the client.
The studio is very warm and cozy for baby, so you can get into something more comfortable and cooler during the summer months.

You can view your images from the comfort of your own home via your own private online gallery to download from approximately 3 weeks after your session 

I do not currently provide or sell my raw or unedited images.

With me, absolutely. The safety of your baby is my number 1 priority. My state of the art modern lights and camera equipment are designed to ensure your little one’s eyes are not harmed. Being completely mobile means you won’t have to concern yourself with any wires or cables on the photo day, as my equipment operates without the need for them.

A camera’s flash will not hurt a baby’s eyesight. Although it seems super bright, the light from flash photography is no brighter than the light from the sun in the middle of the day. Your camera flash only lasts for 1/400 second or shorter, so there is no damage to newborns from camera flashes. The light from the flash isn’t bright enough and doesn’t last long enough to cause injury.

A £50 non-refundable booking fee secures your booking and this is deducted from the final cost of your chosen package.
